My, how time flies, “der dah whoosh”

Festival of Quilts seems such a long time ago now  but I have had a fabulous reaction to my quilt “Der dah whoosh” and would like to thank all the people that mentioned the quilt in their blog.

Such a great response has given me the confidence to take the plunge and I will be at the festival of quilts as a demonstrator, along side Susan Chapman. By then, August, I would have completed my Fda in stitched textiles, completed my certificate in education, exhibited my final years work and be wondering what to do next.

The final years work is still being gently nurtured, sampling and sketchbooks are being filled, I just have to take the plunge and commit to the work. Not long to the graduate show at Eastleigh college, I only have 22 weeks, and there are only 24 hours in a day. I will post information about the show later but would like to let you know that our fda textile group, fabricformation, is hosting an afternoon talk by the international textile artist Matthew Harris.
